Attorney Cheryl Barnett is a graduate of the UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI SCHOOL OF LAW in 1984 and  is licensed to practice law in the States of Florida and Alabama.

She is a certified Family Mediator in Florida and on the roster of Family    Mediators in Alabama. Cheryl is also a qualified Arbitrator.

She has had a trial practice for over 15 years and has represented financial institutions, Homeowner and condominium associations, corporations and individuals, in  all types of civil matters.

Among other honors, she has received awards for her representation of  abused and neglected children as a Guardian Ad Litem and for her work as a  juvenile arbitrator.

A commitment to family, church and the community is represented by her    involvement in many civic activities including Past President of    BigBrothers/Big Sisters, Manna Children's Ministries, Literacy Tutor for    Martin and Talladega County, PTA President, Parent Advisory member, At Risk and High Hopes Board Member, Administrative Board Member for First Methodist Church of Sylacauga.
